The vampire thing was definitely in the category of weird and thensome. Eddie still can't say he understands all of it and he doubts he ever will but being with Richie had made it easier for him. He remembers first waking up and the panic that came from being dead and then suddenly being sorta alive again before the sick worry of if he could approach the other Losers about this.

Ultimately, it seemed, dead or alive or somewhere in between that he would always be drawn to Richie. It was something just so much stronger than either of them.

That's why he doesn't hesitate after the kiss breaks from dipping down, cutting the skin of his own wrist and drawing a small amount of blood into his mouth before tugging the other man into a heated kiss. It's a small, helpful jolt of energy for Richie they discovered rather by accident although Eddie spent a good 48 hours worried that Richie would end up like him. A thought that eats away at him some nights and some nights wonders if it would actually be that bad.

There's still something to be said about feeding his boyfriend his own blood that makes him feel near feral. A fact he doesn't hide as he licks into Richie's mouth before pulling back with another loving look.
